Flying to Marshfield:

Unless you originate from Madison (about 2.75 hours by auto) or Minneapolis (3 hours by auto) or possibly Chicago (5-6 hours by auto), the best way to travel to Marshfield is to fly to the Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA) at Mosinee, WI (also sometimes called the Wausau or Wausau/Stevens Point Airport). CWA offers several flights daily from Chicago O'Hare (United, American), Minneapolis or Detroit (Northwest) and Milwaukee (Midwest). We particularly recommend Midwest through Milwaukee as this airline nearly always provides superb on-time service.

Several rental car companies offer services at CWA. There is also a cab service from the airport (Courtesy Cab, 715-342-8863). The cost of the cab ride (one way) to Marshfield is $70.00.
